For Talents
How do I apply for an audition?
Click on any audition card, review the details, then click "Apply Now". You'll need to upload a video self-tape (MP4 format, max 50MB) and agree to the NDA if required.
How do I edit my profile?
Go to the Talent Marketplace and click "Edit My Profile" or click your profile icon in the header. Update your headshot, bio, languages, and experience level.
What formats are accepted for self-tapes?
We accept MP4, MOV, and AVI video files up to 50MB. For best results, use good lighting and a neutral background.
For Directors & Producers
How do I post a casting call?
Go to the Director Dashboard and click "Post New Audition". Fill in the project details, role requirements, and upload a cover image.
How do I review applicants?
Use the Director Dashboard to view all applicants. Filter by status (New, Shortlisted, Callback, Hired) and click on any applicant to watch their self-tape, view their profile, and add private notes.
How does M-Pesa payment work?
Directors can mark applicants as paid through the review panel. Ensure you've set up your M-Pesa Till number in your profile settings.

How do I reset my password?
Click "Log In" and then "Sign up" to access the password reset option, or contact support at support@castingke.co.ke
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at support@castingke.co.ke with your account details and we'll process your deletion request within 7 business days.
Is my data safe?
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures. Your data is never sold to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

- Casting Directors/Producers: When you apply to an audition, your profile and submission are shared with the director
- Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate the platform (cloud storage, analytics, etc.)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CastingKe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use CastingKe. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update your information as needed.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
- Use the platform for spam or commercial solicitation
- Upload malicious code or viruses
5. Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you upload. By posting content, you grant CastingKe a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it on the platform for casting purposes.
You represent that you have the rights to all content you upload and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
6. Casting & Employment
CastingKe is a platform connecting talents with opportunities. We are not an employer and do not guarantee employment. Any agreements are between the talents and directors/producers directly.
7. Limitation of Liability
CastingKe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the platform.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in Kenyan courts.
